Los Critics Choice Award alimentan la temporada de premios

Los CRITICS CHOICE AWARDS han develado los nombres de sus nominados para la presente temporada de premios. Algunas coincidencias notables con las nominaciones realizadas por los Golden Globes y tambnién con los Spirit Independent Awards, realizadas esta semana; lo que ya va marcado de manera sólida las tendencias camino al premio de la Academia: el Óscar.

Los nombres de Tom Cruise, Paul Mescal, Danielle Deadwyler, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Yeoh, Michelle Williams, Paul Dano, Brian Tyree Henry (con una de las mejores actuaciones del año en Estados Unidos), Brendan Fraser, Bill Nighy, Sarah Polley, Gina Prince-Bythewood, S.S. Rajamouli, Todd Field, Steven Spielberg, Colin Farrell, James Cameron, S.S. Rajamouli, Daniel Kwan, Daniel Scheinert y Martin McDonagh entre los que parecen destinados a escucharse una y otra vez durante la presente temporada.

Con “Everything Everywhere All at Once” la dupla formada por Daniel Kwan y Daniel Scheinert, se coloca a la cabeza con 14 nominaciones. Le siguen «The Fabelman»s de Steven Spielberg, «Babylon» de Damien Chazelle y 2The Banshees of Inisherin» de Martin McDonagh con 11, 10 y 9 nominaciones respectivamente.

Ana de Armas y Hugh Jackman han quedado fuera del llamado. También Adam Driver, Daniel Craig o Dolly DeLeon. El cuidado remake de Living de Oliver Hermanus tampoco ha conseguido nominaciones al mejor film.
